Foxtail was initially created by Klutz Press in 1996. After Klutz was acquired by Scholastic, the Foxtail fell off the market for years. Cassidy Labs then found the original inventor and relaunched it. Their goal was simple: to keep the iconic toy and brand alive, staying true to its quality construction and wholesome roots.

The Foxtail Sport and the Foxtail Softie are exactly as they were in the 90s, with high-quality materials and construction that will last for years and years of regular use (sometimes decades). The Foxtail Sport has a leather baseball at the end, while the Foxtail Softie has a soft, bonk-the-brother-safe ball, making it perfect for younger audiences and hand-eye coordination practice.

The new Foxtail LED features a few glowing LEDs inside a foam ball, making it perfect for games of catch that stretch into the evening. Remember, Foxtails must be thrown and caught by the tail only.
